About East West

East West started as a childhood obsession with horses and evolved over the years into a merging of husbandry, nutrition, wellness care, preservation breeding and the forever seeking of a better way of living with horses. The inspiration has always been the dream of a relationship like Alec Ramsey and his stallion The Black in the old Walter Farley Black Stallion books. East West is a simple family-oriented farm designed to be the best home possible for our herd, from their point of view. The farm is designed for movement and socialization, including for the stallion and upcoming colt.

The name East West is a nod to two things - a global view of horses and horsemanship and a nod to my father, whose love of horses - learned from his father - started it all.
